About the Role

We seek an experienced Full Stack WooCommerce Developer to enhance our website's functionality, user experience, automation, and scalability continuously.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WooCommerce features including custom plugins, checkout, cart, coupons, wallet, and membership functionalities.
• Optimize order management, inventory workflows, and integrate shipping partners, payment gateways, and ERP systems.
• Create custom WordPress themes and plugins while maintaining and improving the existing codebase, ensuring security and stability.
• Manage WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates cautiously to avoid functional disruptions.
• Implement responsive frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), jQuery, Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS, focusing on mobile-first design and UI/UX enhancements.
• Develop backend features using PHP (OOP), MySQL, WordPress REST API, and custom/third-party API integrations.
• Improve website performance through Core Web Vitals, Google PageSpeed, database and image optimization, CDN deployment, caching mechanisms (Redis, LiteSpeed, Cloudflare), and server tuning.
• Implement technical SEO strategies including schema markup, XML sitemaps, canonical URLs, breadcrumb and URL optimization, and structured data.
• Integrate third-party tools such as Razorpay, Shiprocket, NimbusPost, Delhivery APIs, WhatsApp API, SMS Gateway, Email automation, Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Search Console, and Meta Pixel.
• Automate orders, inventory synchronization, bulk product imports/exports, scheduled cron jobs, and develop custom reporting dashboards.
• Maintain website security and stability via backups, malware protection, security hardening, bug fixes, and ongoing monitoring of website and performance.

Required and Preferred Skills

• Minimum 3 years' experience with WordPress and WooCommerce development.
• Proficient in PHP and MySQL.
• Strong frontend technologies knowledge: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Expertise with WooCommerce hooks, filters, actions, and custom plugin development.
• Experience with REST API integrations and version control using Git/GitHub.
• Ability to debug and optimize performance efficiently.
• Bonus skills include React.js, Laravel, Node.js, Docker, Linux server administration, Cloudflare, LiteSpeed/OpenLiteSpeed, Elasticsearch/Algolia, Redis, and WP-CLI.

Preferred Experience

• Handling high-traffic WooCommerce stores and e-commerce platforms with extensive product catalogs (100,000+ products).
• Experience with marketplaces, bookstores, subscription or membership platforms.

Performance Goals

• Maintain website uptime above 99.9%.
• Achieve Google PageSpeed scores in excess of 90.
• Speed up checkout processes and reduce cart abandonment rates.
• Enhance Core Web Vitals and optimize product page loading times.
