Job Overview

Based in Mount Isa, Queensland, this position involves working at processing facilities, mine sites, and industrial locations. The role focuses on abrasive blasting tasks and general maintenance support while prioritizing workplace safety.

Key Duties

• Perform sandblasting on structural steel, plant machinery, and various industrial equipment.
• Assist with general labor and sandblasting-related maintenance responsibilities.
• Work a typical Monday to Friday schedule with potential for weekend shifts depending on project requirements and willingness.
• Experienced sandblasters may have FIFO opportunities originating from Brisbane or Townsville.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in abrasive blasting, ideally sandblasting.
• Capability to work extended shifts up to 12 hours in high-temperature conditions.
• Willingness to work in confined spaces with associated allowances.
• Physical fitness to perform manual labor tasks.
• Successful completion of police checks and pre-employment medical assessments.
• Strong dedication to adhering to health and safety standards.

• Base hourly wage of $41.09 plus applicable penalties and overtime opportunities.
