Job description
Role Overview
Join as a Warehouse Operator/Trade Counter Sales at our Addington, Christchurch location. In this full-time position reporting to the Store Manager, you will be integral to our Potters Trade Centre team, contributing to customer service, sales assistance, and warehouse management to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service to customers via in-person, email, and phone interactions.
- Manage daily store and warehouse tasks including inventory reception, storage, order picking, packing, and shipment processing.
- Safely load and unload delivery trucks efficiently.
- Organize customer pickup and delivery schedules ensuring smooth logistics.
- Maintain precise stock records and uphold inventory accuracy.
- Process customer orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
- Uphold attractive merchandising and display standards within the store environment.
- Champion warehouse initiatives across the branch.
- Operate forklifts safely; holding a forklift license is mandatory for this role.
Working Hours
The standard working schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional flexibility needed to meet business demands.
