Role overview

This position is for a waitress / F&B server at a private estate in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role is focused on delivering an exceptionally polished dining experience that matches the standards of a high-end, exclusive UHNW residence.

The employer will provide visa sponsorship and relocation support if the selected candidate is not already local.

Purpose of the role

The main objective of this job is to provide refined, discreet, and highly professional food and beverage service while supporting a luxury household environment.

Qualifications and profile

A 3-year hotel school diploma is strongly preferred. The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in a Michelin-starred restaurant, a 5-star hotel, a luxury property, or a similar service environment. Strong English communication skills are mandatory. Ability to speak Tagalog, Sinhala, or Tamil is considered an advantage.

Duties and responsibilities

• Maintain a warm, professional, well-groomed, and approachable presence at all times.
• Deliver attentive, flexible, and personalised service with consistent care and efficiency.
• Serve food and beverages as required during dining and room service operations.
• Adapt smoothly to changing service requirements and different guest situations.
• Know the room service offerings and menu well enough to answer questions confidently.
• Record the principal’s preferences, likes, and dislikes and share updates with the F&B Manager and Senior Butlers.
• Ensure the principal’s needs are met throughout each course and beverage service.
• Set up tables properly and serve welcome drinks whenever the principal arrives at the residence.
• Carry out all tasks with priority, discretion, calmness, and strict attention to timing.
• Keep dining spaces and reception areas clean and presentable.
• Document important instructions, updates, and notes, and complete a proper handover before ending the shift.
• Support stock monitoring for items used in the residence.
• Follow company rules as well as fire, hygiene, health, and safety policies, and participate in meetings, training sessions, and related activities as scheduled.

Work schedule and joining

The expected start date is ASAP. The schedule includes one day off per week.

Compensation and benefits

Salary is AED 2,000 per month, tax free. Benefits include shared accommodation, meals, health insurance, and a return ticket home every second year along with 60 days of leave.
