Job Overview

The role of Waiter / Waitress is based in Dubai and focuses on delivering exceptional customer service within a high-end hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality service to all guests.
• Welcome and escort customers politely.
• Present menus clearly and answer questions regarding portions, ingredients, and possible food allergies.
• Take precise orders for food and beverages.
• Ensure proper setup including linens, silverware, and glasses.
• Communicate order details effectively with the Caterer or Hospitality Supervisor.
• Prepare and serve hot, cold, and mixed drinks.
• Clear tables by removing used plates, glasses, and silverware for cleaning.
• Clean dining areas and counters after use.
• Adhere strictly to health department regulations.
• Stock service areas adequately with coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
• Assist front desk and hostesses in greeting and seating guests during peak times.
• Support the Retail Sales team by assisting with packaging and stock retrieval as needed.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Hospitality Supervisor or Showroom Manager.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience working in upscale restaurants, fine dining establishments, or hotels rated four stars or higher.
• Good command of English in both verbal and written forms.
• Strong client service skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Good organizational abilities and effective time management skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
