Role Overview
Hydale Fleet Solutions develops GPS tracking, telematics, and fleet management tools that help organisations and private vehicle owners improve security and visibility. The company is hiring a Vehicle Tracking & Technical Support Technician to handle installations, diagnostics, and customer-facing technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit, set up, and keep GPS vehicle tracking units working properly.
- Install and service remote engine immobilisers and cut-off devices.
- Set up dash cameras, fuel tracking equipment, speed control units, and vehicle alarm systems.
- Identify faults and resolve issues in vehicle electrical and telematics wiring and hardware.
- Deliver technical assistance to customers and ensure dependable post-sale support.
- Carry out product demos and advise clients on the most suitable tracking and fleet management options.
Requirements
- At least 5 O-Level passes, with English, Mathematics, and Science included.
- Certificate, Diploma, or Trade Qualification in Automotive Electrical Engineering, Auto Electronics, Motor Mechanics, or a similar discipline.
- Hands-on experience installing vehicle tracking and telematics equipment.
- Good knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring diagrams.
- Strong diagnostic thinking and practical problem-solving ability.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
