Truck Vehicle Service Attendant

Overview

The Truck Rental Division at Enterprise seeks a dedicated full-time Vehicle Service Attendant (VSA) to join the team in Kingston, Ontario. The successful candidate will be involved in cleaning, detailing, and conducting light maintenance and inspections on a varied fleet of medium-duty trucks. The position is located at 1284 Bath Road, Kingston, ON K7M 4X3, offering a competitive wage of $18.50 per hour.

Work Schedule

• Monday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Operate various vehicles safely and efficiently within the lot and for local delivery assignments
• Perform fluid checks and maintain appropriate levels on vehicles
• Report unsafe equipment, vehicle issues, or hazardous conditions to management promptly
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks including tire pressure monitoring, fluid replacement, changing marker lights, and lift gate upkeep
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas remain orderly, clean, and functional
• Maintain regular and dependable attendance for assigned shifts

Additional Duties

• Engage in self-improvement initiatives including skill development, training, and goal setting to enhance job performance
• Complete miscellaneous assignments as directed by management

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Holder of a valid Ontario G or G2 driver’s license with a clean driving record—no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents over the past three years
• No drug or alcohol-related offenses on the driving record in the last five years
• Authorized to work in Canada without the need for company sponsorship, presently or in the future
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Availability to work the scheduled hours stated above, except for religious accommodations
