Time & Attendance Officer

Role Overview

Primo Foods invites applications for a Time & Attendance Officer position within our People & Culture team based in Wacol on a fixed term contract spanning 12 months. This role primarily focuses on facilitating payroll and workforce time tracking functions, ensuring precision of employee data, attendance records, and associated payroll administration throughout the organization.

Key Duties

• Process workforce attendance and time data in accordance with applicable Enterprise Agreements and Awards.
• Capture, report, and verify hours worked by labour hire and manage supplier invoice reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll files, including pay rates and leave balances.
• Manage onboarding of new employees via ADP and Kronos payroll systems.
• Support payroll cycle processing and guarantee compliance with payroll deadlines.
• Address employee inquiries related to payroll and timekeeping.
• Calculate payroll corrections and finalize termination payments effectively.
• Prepare and submit superannuation contributions timely.
• Oversee the maintenance of human resource records and documentation.
• Track and report on system issues with Kronos or payroll platforms and verify authorized overtime submissions.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience handling payroll in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Kronos, ADP, and SAP payroll or HR management systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and payroll compliance standards.
• Demonstrated capability to establish strong collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational aptitude, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and time management to handle multiple deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication talents, including coaching and influencing skills.
• A proactive attitude complemented by a commitment to continuous process improvements enhancing the employee experience.
