Job Overview
The Territory Sales Manager will be entrusted with driving growth, retention, and protection of the company's last mile delivery services within a designated region in Saudi Arabia. This role demands a commercially driven individual capable of securing new clientele, fostering long-term partnerships, grasping client requirements, capitalizing on prospects for profitable outcomes, and consistently meeting agreed revenue and performance benchmarks. The position commands a proactive mindset focused on creating opportunities, navigating commercial challenges, closing deals, and taking full ownership of results.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of commercial outcomes within the assigned territory, including managing the customer portfolio and fostering business expansion.
- Devise and implement a comprehensive territory sales strategy encompassing lead generation, customer acquisition, retention, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Identify, assess, and convert new business potentials across sectors like e-commerce, retail, SMEs, and corporate clients.
- Establish strong rapport with decision-makers, business proprietors, and operational teams.
- Assess client needs and deliver tailored last mile delivery solutions aligning with service, cost, and commercial goals.
- Manage end-to-end sales processes from prospecting through negotiation, deal closure, onboarding, and account nurturing.
- Consistently achieve or surpass assigned revenue, volume, and other sales objectives.
- Keep an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline with realistic forecasts and timely reporting of risks and opportunities.
- Safeguard existing revenues by maintaining active customer engagement, early detection of service issues, and collaboration to resolve them.
- Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful rollout of services.
- Track competitor actions, market developments, pricing shifts, and client mobility, reporting relevant insights to leadership.
- Regularly conduct on-site customer visits and business evaluations while adhering to disciplined field sales practices.
- Comply with company policies including pricing protocols, approval workflows, CRM usage, and governance standards.
- Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in all dealings internally and externally.
Qualifications and Skills
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- At least two years of proven sales experience in related industries, with a history of driving revenue growth.
- Experience collaborating with e-commerce clients is advantageous.
- Ability to craft sales strategies and utilize performance metrics effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Salesforce is a benefit.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Capable problem-solver with a results-oriented, self-motivated approach.
- Excellent organizational and target-focused capabilities.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
