We're looking for an enthusiastic Technical Analyst to join our Darwin, NT team on a 10-month fixed-term contract basis.

Role Overview

This role involves delivering support and expertise for complex ICT and enterprise technology systems. The ideal candidate will have robust technical skills in both Linux and Windows environments, alongside extensive experience with Atlassian platforms such as Jira and Confluence. Responsibilities include providing specialist advice, performing comprehensive system analysis, supporting critical ICT infrastructure, and spearheading continuous improvements through innovative process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist technical consultation and support involving enterprise systems, applications, and Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.
• Interpret business and technical demands to propose system, process, and service enhancements.
• Design and implement migration and deployment strategies for complex system changes while mitigating risks.
• Manage, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows systems, infrastructure components, databases, and networked systems.
• Lead or support Atlassian Server-to-Cloud migration projects comprising application evaluations, plugin verification, security reviews, testing, and rollouts.
• Tackle complex Level 2 and Level 3 support issues in collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.
• Generate thorough technical documentation, procedural guides, knowledge articles, and implementation manuals.
• Track and optimize system performance to ensure availability and recommend ongoing improvements.
• Engage in change, incident, and problem management protocols following ITIL standards.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and support duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven background in supporting enterprise ICT environments on both Linux and Windows platforms.
• Demonstrable expertise with Atlassian products including Jira, Confluence, and preferably Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• Experience leading Atlassian Server-to-Cloud migrations including planning, plugin compatibility, integration, security assessment, and support.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience in requirements gathering and translating them into technical solutions.
• Firm understanding of IT infrastructure fundamentals, networking, security principles, and database administration.
• Hands-on experience offering Level 2 and Level 3 technical support in complex enterprise setups.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude, capable of diagnosing challenging issues and implementing practical evidence-based fixes.
• Ability to assess technical risks and execute controlled changes in service environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to clearly convey technical information to diverse audiences.
