Role Overview

The Tandem Press Operator (Servo) is tasked with managing sophisticated servo-driven press lines involved in shaping metal automotive structural components. The role demands consistent production quality, adherence to safety protocols, and ongoing improvement within the stamping production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate servo-driven tandem press machinery for manufacturing automotive structural parts.
Set up and configure automation and servo press systems to meet specific job requirements.
Ensure smooth production by loading blanks to the destocked efficiently.
Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and maintain peak performance.
Monitor press operations to detect and resolve quality problems promptly.
Use Siemens HMI interfaces for diagnostics and fault resolution.
Coordinate or perform automatic die changes and prepare press lines for new production runs.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets safely and on schedule.

Qualifications and Experience

Proficiency in reading technical drawings and performing machine setups, troubleshooting, and quality inspections.
Practical experience operating press machines, including handling automatic die changes and diagnosing with Siemens HMI systems.
Strong mechanical skills coupled with effective problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of quality assurance methods and capability to resolve machine-related quality issues.
Ability to perform well in a dynamic, team-driven, and safety-focused workplace.
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
Between 1 to 3 years of stamping experience, ideally with Schuler Tandem Servo Press equipment.
