About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our comprehensive supply chain operations. This role is suited for professionals dedicated to achieving operational excellence through supplier management, cost efficiency, and building robust, efficient supply chain systems aligned with business needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement supply chain strategies that support organizational goals.
- Manage all aspects of supply chain operations such as procurement, inventory control, logistics, warehousing, and product distribution.
- Lead supplier sourcing, assessment, negotiation, and ongoing performance evaluation.
- Optimize inventory through accurate demand forecasting and planning methods.
- Track supply chain performance using key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze operational data to minimize costs, enhance efficiency, and improve service quality.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Production departments to meet company objectives.
- Develop risk management tactics to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
- Supervise logistics processes to guarantee punctual delivery of goods and services.
- Champion initiatives for process improvement, automation, and adoption of digital technologies.
- Prepare comprehensive supply chain performance reports and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team towards operational excellence.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent fields.
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain operations, procurement, inventory planning, logistics, or managing operations.
- Thorough understanding of supply chain workflows, demand planning, supplier relations, and cost control.
- Strong analytical abilities, adept at problem solving and decision making.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar systems.
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functions and supply chain analytics techniques.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Capability to juggle multiple responsibilities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-disciplinary teams.
- Having certifications like CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, or PMP is beneficial.
- Experience leveraging AI and data analytics for operational improvements is a plus.
