Student Training Program Manager, Education Impact

About the Role

Google is transforming learning and research using artificial intelligence through its Gemini family of models, aiming to empower students and educators globally. The Education Unit's Global Impact team has supported over 140 million users by integrating tools like Gemini, Google Workspace for Education, and Chromebooks into academic settings. This role involves leading the creation of training programs for students during this transformative period.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct strategy, development, and implementation of training programs and educational content aimed at K-12 and higher education students.
• Develop and enhance train-the-trainer resources and curricula to equip teachers with effective student-focused training materials.
• Research student learning preferences, technology access, interests, and trends to guide content format, gamification elements, platform choices, and topics.
• Collaborate with curriculum partners and internal teams to design scalable, high-quality programs that promote academic achievement and workforce readiness.
• Manage and update student certification systems within the learning center.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in program or project management.
• At least 3 years in managing content programs, instructional design, certification design, or curriculum development focused on training or educational materials.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance educational experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Program management certification or experience working in program management within a technology company.
• 3 years managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience developing student-facing training content, curricula, or video learning modules.
• Ability to conduct research, analyze data, and apply insights to content strategy and development.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges from $111,000 to $160,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus target, equity grants, and comprehensive benefits.
