Role Overview
As the Store Manager at Edgecumbe, you will oversee all site operations, focusing on leadership, customer satisfaction, and financial success. You will serve as a local community ambassador, assisting farmers to maximize the benefits of the site to save time and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall site operations ensuring sustainable financial results, positive customer experiences, and adherence to retail strategy disciplines.
- Lead and develop a motivated sales team through coaching, mentorship, and creating high engagement.
- Establish and maintain long-term, value-driven relationships with customers, suppliers, internal partners, and Fonterra shareholders.
- Promote a proactive health and safety culture, ensuring compliance and a safe work environment.
- Uphold and champion policies that enhance Fonterra’s reputation locally and nationally.
Candidate Profile
We seek an inspiring, passionate leader who can motivate a team towards clear goals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter willing to contribute hands-on when needed.
- Preferred retail management experience of 2–3 years.
- Strong skills in coaching and mentoring.
- Proven ability to enhance customer service quality.
- Demonstrated financial management capability.
