Job description
Role Summary
This position invites experienced hospitality professionals, particularly those with backgrounds as Bar Managers, Pub Managers, Restaurant Managers, Assistant Managers, or Supervisors, to take on a stocktaking role that offers improved work-life balance including sociable hours, bank holidays, and festive breaks. The role centers on managing stocktakes for wet and dry stock in hospitality venues across Kent and surrounding regions while fostering enduring professional relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular stock audits and take stock at various restaurants, pubs, bars, and entertainment venues.
- Analyze stocktake data by running detailed reports on EPoS systems and providing professional insights to improve stock utilization and profitability for clients.
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships with assigned clients to offer ongoing professional advice on hospitality business operations alongside stocktaking duties.
- Travel within assigned territories using the candidate's own vehicle to meet client locations.
Experience and Skills Required
- Relevant past experience either as a Stocktake Auditor/Advisor or in a supervisory/managerial position within hospitality, with practical exposure to wet and dry stocktaking.
- Proficiency with EPoS systems for generating stock reports and managing inventory.
- Strong organizational, time management, and administrative capabilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Competence in PC usage, including Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel.
- Understanding of stock yields and stock depletion principles.
Additional Details and Benefits
- Competitive annual salary ranging from A326,500 to A328,500, supplemented with a mileage allowance.
- Work schedule comprises Monday to Friday hours allowing evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays, and a substantial Christmas break off.
