Position Overview
Join Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate to gain practical experience within a bustling retail setting. In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring smooth store operations by unloading delivery trucks, processing incoming goods, and transporting pallets to the sales area, all while upholding a tidy and secure workspace. Your efforts directly support a positive experience for customers and contribute to the overall success of the store. Key Responsibilities
- Pick, prepare, and pack customer orders accurately from various temperature zones to enable prompt delivery.
- Inspect and select fresh, high-quality products while removing any damaged or unsuitable items, and complete related documentation such as pick slips and shipping labels correctly.
- Efficiently organize and pack totes to optimize space usage without compromising product quality or safety guidelines.
- Balance order fulfillment with customer service duties, assisting customers and resolving any issues that arise.
- Follow safety protocols, maintain food hygiene standards, promptly clean any spills, and ensure totes are clean before use. Operate all equipment safely and perform necessary safety checks to maintain a secure work environment.
- Exhibit flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet store demands.
Challenges You May Face
- Manage high volumes of tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly during overnight hours, maintaining energy and focus throughout your shift.
- Perform physically demanding work including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items typically up to 20 lbs and sometimes up to 50 lbs.
- Carry out repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing duties with consistent attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Compensation
The position offers a starting hourly rate of $15.50.
