Stakeholder Manager (Emirati National)

About the Role

Join WSP as a key Authority Liaison Manager (Emirati National) to lead engagement and coordination efforts with government bodies, developers, and external parties involved in major Property & Buildings projects across the UAE. This essential role supports seamless project delivery from design through construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of stakeholder engineers to ensure smooth interaction with relevant authorities and third parties.
• Oversee the entire stakeholder management and approvals workflow during both design and construction stages.
• Build and nurture robust relationships with government agencies, developers, and other external stakeholders to guarantee compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Evaluate and track authority submissions, feedback, and approvals ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications.
• Serve as the main liaison for external stakeholders to address and resolve concerns efficiently and professionally.
• Collaborate with internal design and project teams to integrate stakeholder requirements into project plans and designs.
• Create and execute stakeholder management strategies, communication plans, and reporting frameworks.
• Engage in coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and authorities to troubleshoot conflicts and accelerate approval processes.
• Maintain organized records of stakeholder communications, permits, and approvals.
• Deliver frequent progress updates and reports to project leadership and clients.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a UAE National with a valid Family Book.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Have at least 7 years of experience in stakeholder management, authority liaison, or approvals within the UAE's construction or consultancy sectors.
• Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of UAE authority procedures, design codes, and approval processes.
• Proven capability in leading stakeholder or authority teams on multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multicultural work environments.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic languages.
