Role Overview

The Sourcing Specialist will collaborate closely with managerial staff and cross-functional teams to facilitate cost reductions and optimize business prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic sourcing and oversee global procurement activities.
• Negotiate pricing, contractual agreements, and delivery timelines with suppliers.
• Identify and leverage opportunities to minimize sourcing expenses, enhance the existing product portfolio, and add value to the customer base.
• Perform ongoing market and expenditure analyses aimed at achieving cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
• Establish and nurture supplier relationships to ensure high-quality and cost-efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with essential internal stakeholders to foster business growth and maximize potential.
• Handle tender inquiries and negotiate contracts effectively.
• Participate actively as a member of a dynamic, experienced team dedicated to meeting organizational objectives.

Skills and Experience Required

• Relevant qualification or industry experience in supply chain management or sourcing preferred.
• Demonstrated success in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and selection processes.
• Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
• Capacity to comprehend technical product information.
• Excellent skills in negotiation and decision-making.
• Proficiency with computer applications, particularly MS Office; experience with SAP ERP is highly valued.
• Flexible and proactive mindset complemented by strategic thinking ability.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to function well within a team setting.
