Software Project Manager

About the role

Carré Technologies Inc. is hiring a Software Project Manager to join its development organization. In this position, you will oversee customization projects from start to finish, keeping customer satisfaction high while working hand in hand with R&D and teams across software, hardware, and textile functions.

Key responsibilities

• Turn business, functional, and technical needs into detailed project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate engineering efforts by shaping, applying, and sustaining a consistent development approach for Hexoskin products.
• Track and manage project budgets.
• Monitor progress against plans and committed delivery dates, and share status updates.
• Build and run quality plans, project schedules, testing strategies, and development processes in alignment with broader business and project goals.
• Direct the bug reporting workflow.
• Represent the development function in meetings with leadership, customer support, and clients.
• Work according to the Design Control Process defined in the Quality Manual.
• Set maintenance release plans for products.
• Ensure QA tools and reporting remain practical, effective, and reliable.
• Review and sign off on claim support data as well as verification and validation protocols and reports.

Required competencies

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid analytical capability, including experience with software quality assurance metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and French.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in software or hardware development.
• Background in Agile development and design practices.
• Exposure to the Atlassian tool suite is considered an advantage.
• High standards of rigor and work ethic.
• Good command of software testing methods, principles, and tools.
