Role Overview

We are seeking Software Engineers passionate about crafting robust, customer-centric solutions. In this role, you will engage in the entire product lifecycle including requirements gathering, designing technical implementations, coding, testing, deploying, and refining features. Cross-functional cooperation with Product, Design, Solutions Engineering, and engineering peers is central to delivering scalable and reliable systems impacting our users.

Positions span multiple experience tiers, from mid-level engineers to senior and staff-level leadership positions. Level placement will be based on your interview performance, encompassing your background, technical mastery, and demonstrated contributions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver complete features and projects independently or with minimal guidance.
• Engage actively in architectural and technical design discussions.
• Collaborate effectively across engineering and product teams.
• Lead larger projects and drive technical decisions within your domain as a senior engineer.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and enhance engineering practices.
• Oversee cross-functional technical efforts and influence organizational engineering strategy as a staff engineer.
• Contribute to leadership and promote engineering excellence throughout the company.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience in a dynamic environment.
• Proven history of developing and deploying production-level software.
• Solid grasp of core engineering principles including system design, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Motivation to build products that provide outstanding user experiences.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python and Django framework.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, and React Native.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and creating RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of distributed systems architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.

Work Arrangement and Location

This position is based in New York or San Francisco offering a hybrid model with approximately 2-3 days per week in the office. Remote work from North America may be considered selectively.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range from $125,000 to $225,000 USD, excluding equity which constitutes a significant portion of total compensation.
