About the Role

CJ Hiring is seeking an experienced Civils Foreman for a well-established construction company focused on delivering high-quality civil engineering projects exclusively throughout the Carlow area in Ireland. This permanent full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work locally without the need to travel to Dublin, supporting the project's success from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and organize daily activities on site ensuring smooth operational flow.
• Supervise subcontractors, direct employees, and equipment usage to meet project demands.
• Adhere to project timelines, programmes, and technical specifications.
• Maintain and enforce rigorous health and safety protocols across site operations.
• Manage logistics including the scheduling of deliveries and materials handling.
• Perform quality control to ensure work aligns with preset standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Civils Foreman or General Foreman in construction.
• Solid understanding and practical background in civil engineering or groundwork projects.
• Strong leadership capabilities paired with effective communication skills.
