Role Overview

As a Shop Supervisor, you will support the Shop Manager by overseeing daily store operations, supervising the team, and driving business growth by increasing sales, managing costs, and maximizing profits. You will also lead and develop staff to foster customer loyalty while maintaining high standards in food preparation and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers to create a friendly shopping environment.
• Receive, inspect, and manage daily deliveries.
• Assist in managing stock and inventory within the branch.
• Maintain attractive and accurate shop displays.
• Have comprehensive knowledge of products available.
• Prepare food according to company specifications.
• Monitor food quality and freshness.
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety regulations are strictly followed.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Handle cash transactions and operate tills accurately.
• Open and close the shop when required.
• Supervise shifts at various times throughout the week.
• Drive sales growth while minimizing wastage.
• Contribute to creating a loyal customer base by leading the team positively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience in retail or customer service supervision is essential.
• Experience in food production is advantageous but not mandatory as comprehensive training is provided.

Working Hours and Compensation

The role is full-time based onsite in Windsor, with a 39-hour workweek spread over five days between Monday and Sunday. Shift flexibility is offered to accommodate personal circumstances. The hourly pay rate for Shop Supervisors is £12.71.
