Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive Shift Engineer to join our Engineering team. The role involves maintaining the hotel’s technical systems and infrastructure to ensure smooth daily operations and high facility standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee technical operations within the hotel, ensuring efficiency and reliability on a daily basis.
- Perform minor repairs and troubleshoot issues across all hotel areas attentively.
- Operate, service, and keep accurate records of all technical equipment and installations.
- Inspect and uphold safety and fire protection systems in line with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct painting, repair, and general upkeep duties to maintain the facility’s appearance and function.
- Collaborate with various departments to coordinate materials and supplies for maintenance tasks.
- Manage technical infrastructure components including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure safety and dependability.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training related to electrical, plumbing, building services, or associated trades.
- Prior experience in maintenance, engineering, or electrician roles preferred.
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Strong technical aptitude combined with practical problem-solving skills.
- Flexible to accommodate shift work including weekends and variable schedules.
- Competent in carrying out routine maintenance and repairs.
- Self-motivated team player capable of independent work.
