Role Overview

The Cards API team delivers programmatic digital and physical card issuance solutions to leading fintech platforms such as Nubank, Tiger Brokers, and XP, supported by comprehensive tools for spending control and limits. This role is an opportunity to shape features that address key partner challenges including onboarding acceleration, liquidity optimization, fraud prevention, and card analytics enhancement.

As a Senior Software Engineer (IC3) based in Singapore, you will be integral to an autonomous, cross-functional team collaborating closely with product managers, analysts, and engineers. You will influence not only the implementation but also the strategic decisions about what features and solutions to build.

Technical Qualifications

• Proficient in developing microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Experienced in working with relational databases and designing robust APIs.
• Skilled in constructing resilient, scalable systems.
• Committed to producing maintainable, well-tested software with reliable delivery, effective observability, and proactive management of technical debt.

Product Orientation

• Demonstrates a strong product mindset linking engineering choices directly to customer results.
• Focuses on partner experience by ensuring APIs are user-friendly and thoroughly documented.
• Owns projects end-to-end from problem comprehension through design, deployment, monitoring, and roadmap planning.

• Responsible for system availability, security, and reliability.
• Self-motivated with an independent work style; leads technical roadmaps and project delivery.
• Communicates clearly and flexibly, simplifying complex technical ideas for diverse audiences and partnering effectively with different teams to deliver balanced, goal-oriented solutions.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka technologies.
• Background in finance-related APIs.
• Exposure to the card payments domain, including roles as issuer or acquirer.
