Senior Project Manager - Retail Development

Overview

A leading retail enterprise in Saudi Arabia is in search of a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee extensive retail projects including development, store expansion, fit-outs, and capital investments nationwide. The role demands end-to-end project oversight ensuring adherence to scope, budget, quality standards, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct full lifecycle retail projects such as new developments, store openings, renovations, and fit-outs.
• Manage comprehensive project activities including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and coordination among stakeholders.
• Supervise external consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams effectively.
• Ensure all operations comply with company policies, local laws, health, safety, and environmental standards as well as quality benchmarks.
• Identify and manage risks, variations and lead change management processes throughout the project duration.
• Drive projects to timely completion while optimizing cost control and operational performance.
• Prepare detailed project progress reports and present findings to senior leadership.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives related to business expansion and capital investment strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in project management, ideally within retail, commercial, mixed-use developments or real estate sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects.
• Thorough knowledge of construction fit-out, design coordination, and comprehensive project control techniques.
• Strong leadership capabilities and proven stakeholder management skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Prior experience working within GCC countries, especially Saudi Arabia, is highly advantageous.
