Our team values collaboration, ambition, and meaningful work under the philosophy of "high care, high performance".

Role Overview

We seek a Senior Governance Specialist to serve as the operational cornerstone of our Research Governance function. This role is responsible for ensuring methodological consistency, maintaining taxonomy clarity, and enabling scalable governance frameworks to support Tracksuit's growth. It demands proactive leadership, ownership, and system-building capabilities to detect and address methodology drift and maintain alignment across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational aspects of Research Governance by developing tools, tracking systems, and processes to ensure consistent methodology across regions and products.
  • Manage and oversee monitoring programs, documenting signals of methodological drift, maintaining governance records, and keeping leadership informed on current statuses.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Survey Operations, Product, Solutions, Data Science, Marketing Science, and Strategic Partnerships to ensure shared understanding of data standards and governance.
  • Create clear, structured governance documentation, including SCQAs, methodology summaries, pre-reading materials, and updates to facilitate informed business decisions.
  • Design scalable solutions by building automated workflows and utilizing AI technologies to reduce manual repetitive tasks.
  • Maintain program-level oversight of validation processes and Mode 3 testing, updating governance documentation as new evidence arises.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • AI-native operator comfortable with automating workflows as a standard practice.
  • Highly autonomous with strong prioritization skills and a drive to own projects end-to-end.
  • Obsessed with creating consistent, structured systems designed for scalability.
  • Possesses a research-literate mindset with solid understanding of quantitative research, brand tracking fundamentals, and methodology standards.
  • Enjoys cross-functional collaboration and translating governance frameworks into actionable tools.
  • Thrives in dynamic environments marked by continuous iteration and improvement.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations, program management, research coordination, or analytical roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating or sustaining tracking and monitoring systems.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI agents or automation to enhance scalability and reliability within teams or personal workflow.
  • Excellent written communication skills producing concise and well-structured governance-quality documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural affinity for engaging diverse stakeholders and fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Bonus: Proficiency in SQL or experience with data querying.

  • Equity participation through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
  • Wellness benefits including six weeks of paid leave, an annual wellness bonus, and access to premier employee assistance programs.
  • Parental benefits with 12 weeks of paid leave for all parents, support for IVF treatments, and phased return-to-work schemes.
  • Dedicated learning and development budget of $1,000 annually plus numerous internal career growth opportunities.
  • Flexible work arrangements with office-first culture in beautiful hubs located in Auckland, New York City, London, and Sydney.
