About the Role

Join Adobe's team developing InDesign, the premium page design and layout application enabling the creation of stunning documents for print and digital outputs—from posters to interactive PDFs and eBooks. Our engineering challenges span complex typography, graphics rendering, layout algorithms, and sophisticated user interface design.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features for Adobe InDesign, Adobe InCopy, and Adobe InDesign Server platforms.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, architects, and product managers to design and deliver innovative, user-friendly functionality.
• Contribute to the product's architecture and design efforts as it expands from desktop applications to web-based solutions.
• Optimize product performance, usability, and stability through targeted space-time enhancements.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to fellow engineers.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• Have a minimum of 11 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong expertise in C++, along with solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience architecting and building web applications compatible across multiple browsers and devices is a significant advantage.
• Hands-on experience developing and training generative AI models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an adeptness for defining and understanding system architectures.
• Highly self-driven with a focus on delivering quality results.
• Exceptional communication abilities to clearly explain technical concepts and influence decision-makers.
• Experience working in agile environments on complex software products.
• Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and project requirements.
