Role Overview

This Scrum Master position supports a sophisticated social services transformation project by reinforcing Agile best practices, boosting team output, and encouraging an environment of continual enhancement. Acting as a coach, facilitator, and servant leader, the Scrum Master assists teams facing delivery challenges, enables efficient planning and execution, and establishes governance frameworks to improve project results.

Main Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor teams, team leads, and stakeholders in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and foster initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
• Detect and resolve any blockers affecting delivery to enhance team velocity and efficiency.
• Assist with planning, task estimation, prioritization, resource distribution, and release management.
• Apply delivery metrics, governance protocols, and performance indicators to monitor progress and success.
• Leverage Azure DevOps for backlog handling, sprint planning, reporting, and monitoring delivery.
• Work closely with stakeholders to coordinate dependencies and ensure the smooth completion of the program.

Qualifications Required

• At least 4 years of experience in Agile project management, Scrum, and Agile delivery settings.
• Proven background coaching Agile teams in complex transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Scrum principles, Agile best practices, delivery oversight, and continuous improvement processes.
• Experience in planning, estimating, setting priorities, resource planning, release scheduling, and delivery management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure DevOps to support Agile workflows and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance team performance, eliminate delivery obstacles, and drive successful outcomes.
• Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

Additional Information

Contract Period: July to December 2026.

Security Clearance: A Reliability clearance or higher is required at application.
