Scrum Master Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Scrum Master/Business Analyst possessing over 7 years of expertise in Agile project execution, business analysis, stakeholder coordination, and facilitation of Scrum processes. This position serves as a vital link between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring adherence to Agile best practices to produce superior products. The role demands strong analytical acumen, exceptional communication, and skillful facilitation of collaboration among diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

Scrum Master Duties:

• Lead and orchestrate Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Mentor Agile teams on Scrum frameworks, Agile methods, and ongoing enhancement practices.
• Detect and resolve obstacles affecting team effectiveness.
• Track sprint advancement to guarantee on-schedule achievement of milestones.
• Encourage team cooperation between Product Owners, developers, QA, and stakeholders.
• Analyze Agile metrics including velocity and burndown charts to monitor team performance.
• Advocate for a culture emphasizing responsibility, openness, and continuous growth.
• Contribute to Agile organizational transformation efforts.

Business Analyst Duties:

• Partner with stakeholders to elicit, examine, and document business requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and process reviews to gather precise information.
• Craft detailed Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and manage product backlogs.
• Evaluate current business workflows and advise on enhancements.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing and validate the delivered solutions.
• Communicate specifications effectively to technical teams.
• Facilitate change management and promote user adoption.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or comparable Agile platforms.
• Proficient in requirement gathering, process mapping, and thorough business analysis.
• Comprehensive understanding of SDLC and Agile development cycles.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders and communicate clearly.
• Competence in backlog prioritization and user story development.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experienced facilitator of workshops and cross-team meetings.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Credentials

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master preferred.
• Business analysis certifications like CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA viewed favorably.
• Experience in Agile or digital transformation projects is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SQL, API integrations, and data analytics is a plus.

Professional Experience

• At least 7 years in roles combining Scrum Master and Business Analyst responsibilities.
• A track record of successfully delivering projects using Agile methods in cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to enterprise applications, cloud environments, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
