Role Overview
As a Scrum Master at Holafly, you will oversee sprint health, enforce team discipline, and foster continuous improvement among three designated teams during the company's ongoing Agile transformation. Your role focuses on promoting accountability and setting realistic targets to guarantee predictable delivery and cohesive, high-functioning teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide teams to meet their sprint objectives by encouraging consistent, stable velocity and planning that reflects reality.
- Facilitate disciplined, timely sprint ceremonies that teams recognize as essential for alignment and successful delivery.
- Promote a culture of proactive issue resolution by coaching teams to identify blockers independently, collaborate on solutions, and draw actionable conclusions during retrospectives.
- Clarify roles and responsibilities within teams, ensuring clear backlog ownership with Product Managers and defined individual accountabilities.
- Lead cultural evolution by shifting team mindsets from passive to proactive ownership and accountability.
- Support the development of self-organizing teams through capability building, attentive listening, and consistent guidance alongside the Agile Coach.
Qualifications
- Over 3 years of practical Agile experience working as a Scrum Master.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple teams simultaneously across different Agile maturity stages.
- Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, or an equivalent credential.
- Strong facilitation and problem-solving expertise, with confidence to surface and remove impediments effectively.
- Excellent ability to influence without formal authority, earning trust through transparent and clear communication across functions.
Preferred Experience
- Background involving management of at least five teams with varying maturity levels.
- Experience guiding teams through initial Agile adoption or transformation phases.
- Familiarity with scaling Agile frameworks within product-focused environments.
Work Setup
The company emphasizes trust and performance and follows a two-phase hybrid working model:
- Phase 1: While teams establish their working rhythms and build trust, presence in the office is required three days per week to accelerate the team formation phase.
- Phase 2: As teams become more autonomous, the hybrid model relaxes with a minimum of one in-office day weekly, focused around key sprint activities such as planning, review, and retrospectives.
