Job Overview

KBR, Inc., a company known for innovation and collaboration, is seeking a Rotating Technician II to join their team at Rabigh, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves maintaining rotating equipment and mechanical systems through installation, maintenance, and repair to meet required standards. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring equipment operate efficiently while adhering to safety and operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute maintenance tasks among technicians and coordinate the assembly of maintenance teams.
• Oversee ongoing maintenance jobs and report progress to the foreman.
• Manage and organize manpower, equipment, and materials needed for maintenance activities.
• Ensure all required work permits are obtained prior to commencing work.
• Advise technicians on appropriate tool and equipment usage to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to successfully execute jobs.
• Maintain accurate SAP records including data input, maintenance history, and actual hours worked.
• Participate actively in daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Strictly comply with SATORP standards and guidelines throughout all maintenance activities.
• Enforce safe work practices, adherence to hazardous work regulations, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) following SATORP standards.
• Promote a safety culture encouraging reporting near misses, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts.
• Take part in safety audits and attend scheduled safety and technical training sessions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: 4 to 6 years in maintenance within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong technical expertise in maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities.
• Excellent organizational and proactive skills coupled with strong communication abilities.
• Proven leadership capabilities within large organizational settings.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure and efficiently resolve problems.
• Strategic management skills suited for a multicultural working environment.
