About the Role
Jeena Sikho Lifecare Limited is seeking a seasoned Relationship Manager specializing in Government Empanelment to join their Business Development and Government Business team at Zirakpur. This full-time position involves working six days a week and focuses on identifying and nurturing government business prospects, managing vendor registrations, empanelments, and government tender processes such as on the GeM portal.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and pinpoint government departments, public-sector entities, institutional bodies, and government panels relevant to the company’s offerings.
- Oversee vendor registration and empanelment opportunities.
- Manage registrations and applications on GeM and other governmental procurement platforms.
- Monitor government tender notices, EOIs, RFPs, RFQs, and empanelments.
- Evaluate tender eligibility, requirements, documentation needs, and submission schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop technical and commercial bids.
- Coordinate the entire empanelment lifecycle from identification through to submission, follow-up, and approval.
- Build and sustain relationships with government officials, institutional clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Follow up persistently with relevant departments to process registrations, empanelments, proposals, and approvals.
- Maintain comprehensive records of government panels, registrations, tenders, and related business opportunities.
- Track renewal deadlines for registrations, empanelments, certificates, and agreements.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports detailing applications, tenders, approvals, renewals, and business pipelines.
- Analyze and recommend government business opportunities for management consideration.
- Liaise with legal, finance, operations, sales, and other teams to procure all necessary documents on time.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of experience in government business development, institutional sales, government tendering, vendor empanelment, procurement, or corporate/government relations.
- Experience using GeM and other government procurement portals is a plus.
- Handled government tenders and institutional contracts previously is advantageous.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree is required, with preference given to those holding an MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or related fields.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Expertise in government empanelment, tender and vendor registration management, and institutional sales.
- Strong skills in managing EOIs, RFPs, RFQs and government-related proposal coordination.
- Networking, communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up proficiency.
- Good grasp of government procurement rules, documentation, and MIS reporting.
- Ability to multitask with a result-oriented and target-driven approach.

- Number of government empanelments secured.
- Registrations successfully completed on government platforms.
- Government tender and proposal opportunities sourced and submitted.
