Role Overview

We are hiring a Relationship Banking Associate (RBA) to join our team in Prahran, Victoria. This full-time, on-site position involves supporting branch operations through facilitating customer service activities and ensuring precise execution of routine banking transactions. The RBA will manage account inquiries, maintain accurate records following bank guidelines, and work collaboratively with internal departments to resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the smooth functioning of branch banking operations and support sales campaigns by identifying client needs.
  • Respond to customer queries related to their accounts with professionalism and clarity.
  • Ensure meticulous processing of transactions and maintain up-to-date documentation as per organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to promptly address and resolve operational challenges.
  • Contribute to adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards within the branch environment.
  • Help sustain an orderly and efficient work setting at the branch premises.

Candidate Requirements

  • Basic understanding of banking processes, retail banking services, and fundamental financial concepts.
  • Excellent customer service skills with effective communication abilities to handle inquiries.
  • High attention to detail ensuring accuracy in transaction handling and record keeping.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, with a willingness and aptitude to learn bank-specific technological tools.
  • Capability to work full-time on-site and adapt comfortably to a dynamic financial services setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to efficiently manage customer and operational concerns.
  • Educational background including a diploma or degree in commerce, finance, business or related disciplines is preferred.
  • Prior experience in banking, finance, or client-facing roles will be considered an advantage.
