About the Role
Market 36 Recruitment is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join their team located in Braintree Town Centre. This position offers the chance to work within an established and expanding recruitment agency, directly managing the entire recruitment process within the Industrial & Driving division. It involves managing a well-developed desk with significant growth potential. The role is a full 360-degree recruitment position requiring a commercially minded approach and a solid background in sales or business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and register candidates suitable for roles in warehousing, manufacturing, and driving sectors.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced recruitment environment focused mainly on temporary placements.
- Recognize and pursue growth opportunities with existing clients.
- Proactively seek and follow up on new business prospects.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, which includes arranging interviews, ensuring successful placements, providing aftercare, driving sales and business development efforts, maintaining accurate CRM records, complying with company policies, and attending client meetings.
- Adopt a proactive stance in matching candidates to suitable businesses.
- Work towards achieving defined targets with a results-driven mindset.
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience in recruitment, sales, or business development.
- Commercially astute and proactive in approach.
- Motivated by earning potential and commission-based rewards.
- Effective and confident communicator with energetic interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with excellent time management and multitasking skills.

Additional Details
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.
- Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped commission paid monthly.
