Role overview

A global medical device organization is seeking an R&D Scientist to support its Research and Development function on a contract basis in Limerick. The position focuses on helping the project team solve issues linked to finished drug product development.

What you will do

The role includes carrying out drug product stability studies, reviewing and interpreting analytical data, and contributing to analytical test methods without directly performing them. You will also support sustainability activities and verification and validation work for combination devices.

Required experience and knowledge

The ideal candidate should understand stability testing, analytical methods, and drug product stability studies. Experience in writing technical reports is also needed.

Preferred background

It would be an advantage to have experience in project planning and exposure to combination devices.

Contract details

This assignment is expected to begin as soon as possible and will run for 12 months. The work is based in Limerick and requires presence onsite for 2 to 3 days each week.

Compensation

The rate offered is €40 to €45 per hour, depending on experience. If you have reimbursable expenses, they can be factored into the rate.
