Position Overview

Join our team as a Restaurant Assistant Manager at Store 2705586Q located at 1825 Appling Harlem Dr, Appling, Georgia 30802. This role supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant functions and supervises the staff during the manager's absence. As the Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will guide and mentor team members while collaborating with management to uphold company and brand operational standards, ensuring that every guest leaves with a positive experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding and friendly service to guests; provide coaching and corrective feedback to team members.
• Conduct second-round interviews for prospective team members and shift leads.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant through regular housekeeping duties; assign and follow up on shift responsibilities.
• Oversee the preparation and serving of food, ensuring compliance with brand, company, and health regulations; train team on food preparation and production standards.
• Communicate relevant information to staff and assist in training for new products.
• Manage the placement of campaign materials as needed.
• Ensure quality control standards for products, food safety, and operational processes are met consistently.
• Monitor cash handling, sales, and inventory accuracy during shifts; complete required paperwork and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• In the manager's absence, handle daily, weekly, and end-of-period paperwork, inventory and cash counts, truck orders, and other administrative responsibilities.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to relevant laws and safety codes; document incidents promptly following company policy.
• Partner with the Restaurant Manager to meet financial and operational goals, fostering a profitable establishment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Full-time commitment with flexible availability to cover all operating hours, including at least one hour before opening and after closing.
• Possession of a valid state Driver’s License.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead employees.
• Demonstrates integrity and reliability with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Capable of managing stressful situations with a sense of urgency while maintaining a fun work environment.
• Effective team player who can work independently as needed.
• Physically capable of frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, standing, walking, occasional ladder use, and tolerating varying temperatures and kitchen hazards.
• Able to handle and manipulate objects continuously during shifts, including lifting up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50+ lbs occasionally.
