Role Summary

The QA/QC Manager for High-Rise Mixed-Use Development is an on-site, full-time position located in Riyadh. The role entails overseeing the full spectrum of quality assurance and control processes for construction projects involving high-rise and mixed-use buildings. Key duties include creating, implementing, revising, and maintaining project-specific QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection test plans following relevant standards and client criteria.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise site inspections to verify workmanship and materials quality for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities with engineering, construction, procurement teams, and subcontractors ensuring compliance with plans and standards.
• Identify, document, and oversee resolution of non-conformities through corrective and preventive measures.
• Maintain comprehensive quality records, reports, and documentation for auditing purposes and project handover packages.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and third-party labs on quality-related issues.
• Mentor and train QA/QC personnel, cultivating an environment dedicated to continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations, international construction codes, and authority requirements.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Proven experience designing and managing QA/QC systems tailored for high-rise and mixed-use construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of international building codes, material standards, and Saudi Arabian local regulations.
• Expertise in preparing and handling quality documentation such as inspection reports, material approvals, non-conformance reports, and handover dossiers.
• Proven leadership and coordination capabilities for multidisciplinary QA/QC teams and effective communication with project stakeholders.
• Hands-on knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and quality testing procedures across various building disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to identifying root causes and implementing quality corrective actions.
• Familiarity with common office productivity software and quality or construction management systems.
