Role overview
This contract role is for an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler to support a major semiconductor manufacturing project in Dresden, Germany. The position is based on site and is intended for full-time engagement starting as soon as possible.
In this role, you will help manage complex project timelines across a high-tech manufacturing environment, working closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to keep delivery on track.
What you will do
- Create, maintain, and refine integrated project schedules in Primavera P6.
- Track project advancement and flag timing risks, slippages, and recovery actions.
- Prepare routine progress updates, schedule reviews, and performance dashboards.
- Run and contribute to schedule review discussions with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Work alongside engineering, construction, and operations teams to keep schedules aligned with project needs.
- Assist with critical path evaluation and what-if scenario planning.
- Communicate with clients and senior stakeholders, offering clear status updates and practical recommendations.
- Apply strong scheduling discipline and project controls practices throughout the project lifecycle.
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience as a project scheduler or planner using Primavera P6.
- Background on large industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, construction, or engineering projects.
- Confidence in client-facing situations and experience working with stakeholders across different levels.
- Solid knowledge of project controls, scheduling techniques, and critical path analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports.
- German language ability at B2 level or above.
- Willingness and availability to work full time from the Dresden site.
- Eligibility to work in Germany or the EU.
Preferred background
- Prior exposure to semiconductor, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, data centre, or other advanced manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with EPC or EPCM delivery approaches.
- Additional experience in project controls.
