About the Role
Join Siemens' Smart Infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi as a Project Manager, where you'll be part of a pioneering group dedicated to fusing digital power distribution with building infrastructure solutions. Our goal is to create buildings and infrastructure that are intelligent, comfortable, secure, energy-efficient, and sustainable, connecting the physical and digital worlds through data and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and oversee customer projects following established Project Management (PM) standards and customer requirements while ensuring economic performance.
- Collaborate with Sales or Key Account Managers to provide technical consultation to customers.
- Clarify customer requirements and specifications for Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
- Lead tender participation preparation and negotiate with customers when necessary.
- Coordinate comprehensive project planning and allocate resources appropriately.
- Configure primary switchgear components using NXTOOL software.
- Track milestones and budget compliance; initiate corrective measures to reduce costs from deviations.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate agreed-upon onsite commissioning activities alongside Site Engineering Management, when applicable.
- Ensure adherence to PM standards and business conduct policies such as tax laws, export control, and environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements.
- Manage and coordinate all temporarily assigned project personnel.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency with NXTOOL for configuring gas and air insulated switchgear.
- PMP certification and/or Siemens certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication and project planning skills.
- Fluency in English.
