About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous and well-organized Project Management Officer (PMO) to enhance project governance, portfolio oversight, reporting, and operational efficiency. This role is critical in enabling effective project delivery through establishing structured processes, tracking key performance indicators, and facilitating collaboration across teams to meet strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and implementing project management frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Oversee project portfolios by monitoring timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
- Compile and distribute project reports, dashboards, status updates, and performance analyses for stakeholders.
- Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, risk registers, action items, and meeting minutes.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings by preparing agendas, recording decisions, and ensuring follow-up on tasks.
- Identify potential project risks, dependencies, and challenges, supporting mitigation efforts.
- Analyze project performance metrics and suggest continuous improvements.
- Support resource allocation, capacity planning, and prioritization of projects.
- Ensure projects align with business objectives and organizational strategies.
- Contribute to the deployment of project management tools, reporting systems, and process enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, IT, Operations, or a related discipline.
- Experience in roles related to project management, PMO, operations, business analysis, or coordination.
- Strong familiarity with project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management software such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- High attention to detail and adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Project Management certifications like PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master are advantageous.
- Proficient in English communication.
