Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Estimator with practical expertise in residential fit out projects and in-depth knowledge of Dubai's market dynamics. This is a full-time position at Soltis Interiors LLC, focused on managing costs, estimating construction projects, budgeting, and facilitating effective communication throughout project lifecycles to ensure successful completions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for fit out and construction assignments.
• Engage with market vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Interpret drawings and visuals accurately to produce comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and pricing analyses considering all project factors.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to propose the most cost-effective construction and fit out approaches.
• Perform quantity take-offs to assist in precise pricing and billing processes.
• Generate consistent cost reports and suggest improvements to enhance cost efficiency throughout the workflow.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven ability in cost management, construction estimating, and project budget planning.
• Strong analytical skills to assess data for strategic decision-making.
• Meticulous attention to detail, capable of meeting tight deadlines and thriving under pressure.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD software.
• Superior verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Experience specifically in residential fit out projects within Dubai city.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Additional Information

The candidate should be ready to commence employment on short notice, ideally within two weeks, and have a documented successful background in a similar position in Dubai.
