Project Developer - Renewable Energy (Wind Focus)

Role overview

This position is for a Project Developer to support a fast-growing international energy platform in Germany. The role is centered on renewable energy project development, with the main emphasis on onshore wind assets and additional exposure to solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS).

The opportunity is well suited to someone with around 2 to 3 years of relevant experience who is ready to step into a more advanced role and work directly with senior leaders on active project development work.

What you will do

You will contribute to projects across the development journey, with particular attention to permitting, coordination, and the technical work needed to move projects forward. The position offers involvement in the wider project lifecycle while you build experience in a supportive environment.

• Help progress renewable energy projects from the early stages through permitting
• Liaise with outside surveyors, planning specialists, and technical consultants
• Assist with site evaluations, including wind resource data and spatial analysis
• Support mapping tasks and project documentation; experience with GIS or CAD is an advantage
• Assist with engagement of stakeholders, including local authorities and project partners
• Work closely with senior development managers on live projects

Candidate profile

The hiring team is looking for someone with prior exposure to renewable energy or infrastructure development, especially in Germany. A working knowledge of permitting and project coordination is important, and some understanding of wind project development would be beneficial.

The ideal candidate is proactive, attentive to detail, and motivated to grow professionally. Strong German language skills are required for this role.
