Role overview
Palma Holding is hiring a seasoned Project Accountant to oversee the financial side of property development projects in Dubai. The position centers on day-to-day accounting work, escrow account control, and accurate reporting while maintaining compliance with local regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Handle routine accounting tasks such as raising customer invoices and receipts, and keeping Statements of Account (SOAs) current in Zoho CRM.
- Compile weekly collections summaries, cash flow updates, and follow-up trackers for overdue instalments.
- Manage project escrow reconciliations, prepare requests for escrow releases, and assist with RERA-related financial audits.
- Work with escrow banks, project auditors, and technical consultants to complete and process payment requirements.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance is required.
- Applicants should bring at least 5 years of accounting experience within the UAE real estate or property development sector.
- Strong Excel capability and prior exposure to accounting systems or CRM tools are needed.
- Practical familiarity with TAS (Trust Account System) and DLD portals is a plus.
