Job Summary

The Program Manager will oversee a portfolio of related client delivery projects as an integrated program, ensuring coordinated management of dependencies, resource allocation, and achievement of comprehensive program outcomes. This senior leadership role coordinates multiple concurrent projects under a unified governance model, manages high-level client relationships strategically, and ensures integrated value delivery. The position collaborates closely with the PMO Manager, delivery directors, and Chief Delivery Officer to maintain program visibility and ensure successful multi-stream engagement delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain the program plan for related delivery projects, creating integrated schedules and governance frameworks.
Manage dependencies, shared milestones, and cross-project risks throughout the program.
Chair governance meetings such as steering committees and program reviews.
Oversee project managers, ensuring alignment with program objectives and schedule adherence.
Monitor program health, including delivery status, risks, budget utilization, and milestones.
Provide leadership support when projects encounter challenges or escalations.
Act as senior client relationship owner for program-level engagements, liaising with executive sponsors and senior stakeholders.
Lead client governance meetings, briefings, and strategic delivery reviews.
Manage client expectations on scope, timeline, and outcomes across multiple workstreams.
Supervise resource planning and allocation in coordination with PMO and delivery directors.
Track and control program budget, addressing variances to maintain financial discipline.
Maintain and actively manage the program-level risk and issue register.
Handle change requests across component projects, coordinating necessary approvals.
Escalate critical risks and issues with recommended mitigations to senior management.
Prepare status reports and executive dashboards for PMO and client leadership.
Conduct program retrospectives and integrate lessons learned into future planning.
Contribute to enhancing program management practices and delivery standards at DirectFN.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in project or program management, including 4 years leading multi-project technology or professional services programs.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, interdependent programs with multiple stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies such as waterfall, agile, and hybrids.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
Proficiency with program management and reporting tools like MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
Experience managing sizable budgets and resource pools across concurrent workstreams.
Background in fintech, capital markets, or financial services technology delivery is preferred.
Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Preferred Credentials

Certifications such as PgMP, PMP, or MSP.
Experience with capital markets technology solutions, including trading platforms and management systems.
Familiarity with client delivery environments and stakeholder dynamics within the GCC financial sector.
