Job description
About DBMCI One
DBMCI One is a cutting-edge learning platform tailored for medical students and doctors. It is a product of Neuroglia Health Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of M3, Inc., Japan’s largest healthcare company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. DBMCI One combines the legacy of Dr. Bhatia Medical Coaching Institute with modern technology and data-focused approaches to create a personalized learning experience. The platform supports hybrid learning with on-demand videos, live sessions, and offline classes, reaching over 500,000 doctors and achieving a 92.5% success rate in NEET PG and other competitive exams.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager who will be accountable for driving learner growth and engagement at DBMCI One. This high-ownership role involves defining strategies to ensure medical students remain actively engaged, progress from trial phases to deep involvement, and ultimately succeed in their preparation. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, content, data, and marketing to deliver impactful products. In this role, AI is integrated deeply, with an expectation of leveraging AI tools from the outset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire user growth funnel encompassing activation, engagement, habit formation, and retention for learners across all platforms.
- Develop and oversee the product roadmap focused on learner-centric features, leading stages from discovery and experimentation to launch and iteration.
- Utilize AI-driven prototyping and low-code/no-code tools to rapidly create and validate product concepts without relying heavily on engineering cycles.
- Plan and execute go-to-market experiments by hypothesizing, building lean versions, gathering real user feedback, and iterating quickly.
- Conduct swift A/B testing to evaluate hypotheses, eliminate ineffective features, and double down on successful ones.
- Perform thorough user research through interviews, session reviews, and cohort analyses to identify causes of user drop-off or engagement.
- Identify and focus on critical indicators of learner success, designing features that drive meaningful outcomes instead of vanity metrics.
- Leverage agentic AI tools and automation workflows to speed up research synthesis, feedback analysis, and product iteration cycles.
- Create clear product requirement documents (PRDs), defining acceptance criteria and collaborating closely with engineering and design teams throughout the delivery process.
- Manage and report on key performance metrics and dashboards, maintaining accountability to leadership for product impact.
- Work collaboratively with content and academic teams to ensure alignment between product features and educational pedagogy.
Candidate Profile
- 2 to 4 years of experience in product management within a tech-first environment, preferably in consumer internet, EdTech, or mobile-first products.
- Strong product sense focusing on user behavior, with the ability to deeply understand reasons behind user actions or churn.
- Advanced data skills including SQL, funnel and cohort analyses, and designing A/B experiments. A data-driven mindset is essential.
- Expertise in AI technologies, including proficiency with AI-assisted prototyping and low-code tools like Cursor, Bolt, Lovable, or Replit, and experience applying agentic AI, automation, and prompt engineering in product development.
- Technical fluency to engage in system design discussions with engineering teams, understand API dependencies, and make informed decisions on scope and build strategies.
- Track record of managing full go-to-market experiments from scoping to launch and iterative feedback incorporation.
- Ability to think from first principles, developing original frameworks tailored to users and context rather than copying existing ones.
- High accountability and motivation to move quickly, adapt rapidly, and take ownership of product outcomes.
- Strong communication skills to clearly frame challenges and align cross-functional teams with a focused vision.
- Preference given to candidates with hands-on experience developing B2C or consumer-facing mobile applications.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
