The company is dedicated to building a cutting-edge AI research platform that accelerates and simplifies high-quality consumer and B2B research for global clients like Unilever, Google, and Orange.

Role Overview

This role is for a Senior Product Engineer who embraces an end-to-end ownership approach, from understanding customer issues to delivering complete, polished software solutions. There are no intermediaries such as product managers or designers; engineers directly interface with customers and shape product development. The engineer reports directly to the CTO.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the entire technology stack, including frontend interfaces, APIs, and backend infrastructure.
• Lead frontend engineering using React and TypeScript, establishing standards for component quality, state management, and performance.
• Design and implement backend services such as API endpoints, PostgreSQL database interactions, and asynchronous background job processing.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP services, including S3 storage, media pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Participate regularly in customer meetings to gather feedback and convert it into actionable product and engineering priorities.
• Leverage AI technologies extensively during design, coding, testing, and documentation phases, incorporating LLM APIs and prompt engineering.

Candidate Profile

• At least six years of experience building full-stack applications with strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Robust backend skills involving API design, PostgreSQL, and async/queue workflows.
• Strong frontend development expertise with React.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Experience developing AI-driven products, including familiarity with prompt engineering or large language model APIs.
• Ability to independently lead projects from inception through launch.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with keen attention to detail.
• A collaborative attitude, adept at working autonomously within a small and agile team.

Desired Extras

• Familiarity with React Router version 7 or the Remix framework.
• Previous roles in small, fast-growing SaaS businesses with customer-facing responsibilities.
• Exposure to tools for market or qualitative research.
• Experience deploying agentic AI systems to production, including understanding failure modes and evaluation methodologies.
