Job Summary

As part of our rapid growth and industry evolution, West is standardizing, simplifying, and centralizing global procurement services. The Procurement Services Programs Specialist will be integral to the successful implementation of procurement projects, digital enablement, and process enhancements. This position works alongside business partners to define and execute procurement solutions, combining program management expertise with digital transformation. Responsibilities include overseeing project planning, developing business cases, and defining functional requirements that impact sourcing, procurement, and finance operations. This role reports directly to the Procurement Services Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing cross-functional procurement programs and PMO initiatives.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and performance metrics for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements, align goals, and ensure steady project progress.
  • Perform research and analyze data to support sourcing and program decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Monitor and report program performance and benefits to leadership regularly.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement standards and maintain all governance documentation.
  • Create and uphold project management templates, frameworks, and dashboards.
  • Support system testing, data remediation, and other ad-hoc project activities.
  • Facilitate delivery of procurement digital transformation initiatives in partnership with leadership and technical teams.
  • Assist in deploying and integrating eProcurement and PMO systems, translating business needs into technical requirements.

  • Maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and frameworks to enhance transparency and decision-making.
  • Explore automation, analytics, and AI possibilities within procurement functions.
  • Keep abreast of industry technology trends to foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum third-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in technology deployment, integration, or digital transformation projects.
  • Proven background supporting programs, projects, or process improvement efforts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks accurately.

  • Advanced project management expertise including use of Gantt charts, dashboards, business cases, and baseline setting.
