About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Analytics Engineer to become part of our data and analytics team, responsible for transforming raw data into dependable, scalable reporting solutions that support and influence strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, tune, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to facilitate analytics and reporting needs.
Create and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing SSIS and other relevant tools.
Use Python to automate data processing and transformation tasks.
Design and implement interactive dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions with Tableau and other business intelligence platforms.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to collect and interpret requirements for reporting.
Manage and ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across different systems.
Design semantic layers and reporting frameworks for enterprise-wide usage.
Enhance the performance and scalability of reporting environments.
Maintain and manage code repositories using Git; document workflows and system designs comprehensively.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a closely related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence development.
Expertise in advanced SQL queries and database performance tuning.
Proficiency in Python for data transformation and automation scripts.
Practical experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SSIS.
Strong skills with Tableau and familiarity with Power BI, Looker, or Qlik platforms.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling.
Experience with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with modern data stack technologies and cloud-native architectures.
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices for analytics deployments.
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum project methodologies.
Certifications in AWS or other cloud platforms are a plus.

AWS, SQL/SSMS, Python, SSIS, Tableau, Git, Power BI, and various data warehousing platforms.
