About the Role
dnata is a globally recognized leader in ground services, currently seeking a Port Resource Allocator to join their team. Successful candidates will be provided with comprehensive training tailored to meet performance objectives. This role operates on a rotating roster, covering shifts seven days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate and manage aircraft resources, ensuring worksheets are updated in line with airline Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational tasks.
- Respond to and cover staff absences such as sick calls and personal leave as directed by SDS or SDM.
- Distribute available shifts fairly and transparently, while adhering strictly to budgetary and financial constraints.
- Manage and process all shift swaps following standard operating procedures.
- Prepare accurate worksheets and crew sheets for use by SDS/SDM during shifts.
- Engage in training programs and adapt to newly implemented systems within the business.
- Proactively oversee staff allocations during disruptions and delays, both prior to and on operational days.
- Maintain confidentiality of staff and business information at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong customer service skills coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Proven aptitude for collaborative teamwork.
- Comprehensive understanding of dnata’s business operations, particularly SLAs.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word and advanced Excel functions.
- Capable of working independently and adhering to established procedures.
- Demonstrated resilience under pressure, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dependable punctuality and reliability in attendance.
- Commitment to aviation industry safety and security standards.
- Alignment with dnata’s business principles, emphasizing integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
