Role Overview

The Placement Manager oversees the entire placement process for learners, ensuring successful employment outcomes with cybersecurity and IT companies. Located in Kochi, this full-time onsite position involves cultivating and maintaining relationships with employers, understanding their hiring needs, and actively promoting Offenso graduates for appropriate job roles. Daily responsibilities include coordinating placement drives, facilitating learner readiness sessions, organizing recruitment events and interviews, along with maintaining accurate placement metrics and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain partnerships with employers and recruitment stakeholders in the cybersecurity sector.
• Coordinate and execute placement drives and recruitment events effectively.
• Conduct sessions to prepare learners for interviews, resume building, and portfolio presentation.
• Track and report placement statistics to monitor and improve outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with academic and career support teams to align training with industry expectations and provide mentorship.
• Perform ongoing market research to stay abreast of cybersecurity recruitment trends.
• Contribute to strategies that improve the academy’s placement performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven relationship-building and networking skills with experience managing employer partnerships and recruiter contacts.
• Experience in placement coordination, career services, event organization, and guiding candidates on resume and interview preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate workshops and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity or IT roles along with understanding of hiring practices to connect learners' skills to market needs.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities, including proficiency with spreadsheets, CRM, or placement management software.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field; HR, Business, or related backgrounds are advantageous.
• Previous experience in campus placements, recruitment, talent acquisition, or career counseling is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work onsite in Kochi and adapt within a dynamic, learner-focused environment.
